3.Consultation

This element of the OHSMS has two sub elements

	The organisation must consult with employees to contribute to the making of decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare at work.
	UNSW has established an OHS Consultation Procedure describing OHS consultation arrangements.
	Each Faculty and Division must establish their OHS consultation structure according to the OHS Consultation Procedure. All consultation on OHS issues that will affect the health, safety and welfare of staff must be addressed by the established consultation structure

	The organisation must consult with employees to contribute to the making of decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare at work.
	UNSW has management and staff forums for the sharing of information.
	OHS must be included as a standing agenda item at all management and staff meetings
