OHS Awareness Online Course wins Platinum Award for Best Safety Training Program 2011 -uploaded 16/08/2011

UNSW’s new online OHS Awareness training course has been recognised with the top award for Best Safety Training Program at the 2011 LearnX E-learning & Training Awards. Other organisations recognised as part of the awards were BHP Billiton, the Commonwealth Bank and Amalgamated Holdings Limited.

Safe Work Australia - Fluoro Wednesday @ UNSW 2011!! 26th October 2011 hosted by OHS Unit -uploaded 16/08/2011

Our aim for Fluoro Wednesday @ UNSW is to provide a fun day to thank all of the Staff who are on their local safety committees or who are part of the emergency teams from each building. The emphasis is on fun, and we are hoping that everyone will turn up wearing fluoro!! Last year we had around 270 staff attend!!! The OHS Unit is providing a barbeque and we intend to have lots of prizes.
